Salem County · New Jersey

Upper Pittsgrove Township

Including Monroeville, Daretown and Pole Tavern. A rural farming township with Route 40 businesses, orchards and nurseries, campgrounds, local food, a winery and distillery, and miles of open countryside.

Upper Pittsgrove & Monroeville

Upper Pittsgrove Township was incorporated in 1846 from portions of Pittsgrove Township. Monroeville is one of its best-known communities, but it is not a separate municipality. Many local destinations use either an Elmer 08318 or Monroeville 08343 mailing address, so NJTGO focuses on the actual township boundary rather than the postal city.
